Holy cow this looks AWESOME! I am also a huge fan of mint ice-cream and this recipe is something that I am going to have to try asap! Deanna | Curly Top
that makes us so happy! oh my goodness I had never heard of "they draw and cook", and looks like so much fun! I'll definitely let Rosaura (the fab artist) know about it!! thanks!
oh yum! that would be delicious. I've read a few recipes that use 2-3 cups of fresh mint leaves, chop them up finely, and place them and the milk in a saucepan to heat (but not boil). once it's hot, you remove from heat and let it infuse for an hour or so, and then you can continue with the recipe as is. let us know if you give it a go!
That looks - and sounds - delish! Thanks for sharing (mint is my absolute fave too!)

I have a ton of fresh mint growing in my backyard. Any thoughts on how to incorporate it into the ice cream instead of using the mint extract?
